Support will look different for every family but we want to make sure that you have help with clothing extra curricular activities, and gifts at Christmas at the minimum. As needs arise we want to hear from you! We also want to provide support with additional training and support groups as well as fun events for your whole family to connect with other families!
Grayson County Child Welfare Board Clothing Reimbursement Program
Helping Foster Children Thrive Through Every Season
The Grayson County Child Welfare Board is dedicated to supporting children in foster care by helping provide the clothing and essentials they need throughout the year. Our Summer and Winter Clothing Reimbursement Programs assist foster families with eligible clothing expenses for children placed through CPS.
Whether preparing for a new school year or colder weather, these programs help ensure children have the confidence, comfort, and necessities they deserve.
Summer Clothing Reimbursement
Summer Clothing Reimbursement Available Through September 30, 2026
As children prepare for a new school year, having well-fitting clothes can make a meaningful difference in their confidence, comfort, and success. The Summer Clothing Reimbursement Program helps foster families offset the cost of essential clothing purchases for children in their care.
Application Window
Open: July 1, 2026
Deadline: September 30, 2026
To be eligible for reimbursement, all receipts and required documentation must be submitted by the application deadline.

Winter Clothing Reimbursement
Winter Clothing Reimbursement Now Open
The Winter Clothing Reimbursement Program helps foster families provide children in foster care with warm clothing and seasonal essentials during the colder months. Every child deserves to feel comfortable, confident, and prepared for winter.
Application Window
Open: January 1, 2027
Deadline: April 30, 2027
Foster parents should submit all receipts and required documentation before the deadline to be considered for reimbursement.
This program helps ensure children have access to coats, jackets, shoes, and other seasonal clothing necessities while supporting the families who care for them.
How to Apply
